Some camps , Most Notably Myrtle Beach Travel Park work hard to provide enough pressure for hundreds of campers to get showers at once. During low use, water pressure can get up to 75 lbs. protect your camper! We had two potable water hoses blow the fittings off. This is my second purchase of this item. NOT because it failed, but because I left it on a spigot! At a high water pressure site, double check after an hour for spikes.

Decent quality
We just bought a new to us toy hauler and plan on traveling more than we had with our previous camper. Unbeknownst to us the water hose that came with the camper already had a preset pressure regulator. I figured it out when I installed this one. I like this one because I can adjust it and I can also see where the water pressure is at. On our last camping trip with friends, several of them commented on how great the water pressure was. That is until two of them blew lines in their campers due to the water pressure. I went out and adjusted my regulator to 45 psi and never had a problem. Highly recommend this product if you travel to a lot of different campgrounds and don't know what the water pressure is.

Worked for 9 months
This is the second I’ve purchased. Neither lasted for than a year. Although the regulations continues, both gauge needles stuck. I would be just as well off buying a regulator without a gauge. In the end, that’s what I have.

Works great
Purchased to replace an old one that was damages during a freeze last winter. Works as described. I would recommend either not using or wrap in a thermal protectant during freezing weather.
